Doha, Qatar – IAID Performing Arts is thrilled to announce the eagerly awaited return of the London College of Music (LCM) Musical Examinations to its onsite venue. Over 190 talented IAID students are set to showcase their musical expertise during these face-to-face examinations, scheduled to take place from 29 January to 10 February 2024 at IAID, Hilal Centre.
After five years of adapting to online examinations due to the unprecedented global pandemic, IAID is excited to bring back the prestigious onsite examinations. The resumption of face-to-face assessments reflects IAID’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards in performing arts education.
The Senior International Examiner, Nick Mackey, a distinguished representative from the London College of Music, University of West London, UK has arrived in Doha to conduct the examinations. Mr. Mackey’s extensive experience and discerning eye for musical talent are expected to contribute to a comprehensive evaluation of the students’ performances.

In a statement, Mr. Rajesh Jadhav, Managing Director of IAID, emphasized the Academy’s dedication to providing exceptional quality training. “IAID is true to its commitment to delivering exceptional quality training in the performing and visual arts. As we celebrate 22 years in this creative journey, we eagerly anticipate a seamless and excellent performance from all our examinees this year. The return to face-to-face examinations is a testament to our resilience and the enduring spirit of the performing arts community,” he said.

The examinations will cover a wide spectrum of musical disciplines, including classical piano, electronic keyboard, acoustic and classical guitar, western vocals for pop and musical theatre. IAID students have diligently prepared for this moment under the guidance of experienced instructors.

Results of the examinations will be announced shortly after the conclusion of the assessment period.
