Sharing with you IAID Spotlight Featuring IAID Classical Ballet Students and the newest IAID Classical Ballet Instructor Ms. Megan Schoeman.The night started with a classical ballet performance from Ms. Megan Schoeman
Megan started dancing at the age of five and has achieved many accolades in her dancing career. At the age of 7, she became a member of the The State Theatre Ballet of Pretoria – South Africa, and performed in classical ballet “The Nutcracker”. She then went on to complete all vocational graded examinations with The Royal Academy of Dance, and completed her Advanced 1 and 2 vocational graded examinations with ISTD at the Waterfront Theatre College. She also trained under the famous South-African choreographer/director of KMAD company, Kelsey Middleton, and is now a qualified ballet, contemporary and modern dance teacher. Ms. Megan is very passionate, dedicated and committed to dance and her career as a teacher. She believes that through dance we get the immeasurable opportunity to express emotions through movement. She takes great pleasure in imparting knowledge to students to become the very best they can be.

IAID’s Classical Ballet for Girls is a graded course following the British Theatre Dance Association (BTDA) syllabus. The course concentrates on the pleasure of movement and musicality, with the development of technique, artistry and self-discipline evolving throughout the levels.
