Unfolding & sustaining the Academy’s trademark of excellence to the Qatar community
Doha, Qatar – In more than 15 years of quality training in Dance, Music & Arts, twenty-nine IAID music students are all set to take the national stage of Qatar’s first ever National Music Competition under the patronage of Qatar National Commission for Education, Culture and Science from 15th to 19th October at the Katara Drama Theatre.
“We are proud of you dear students. You are already winners. Believe in yourselves as you have been trained by the best instructors. Don’t forget that you are ensured of a solid learning foundation with IAID. We are also affiliated with the London College of Music, University of West London, UK. All the best!” This was the inspiring message by the IAID Centre Head, Ms. Vicky Ferrer- Mustafa during one of the students’ rehearsals.
These students are vying for places in various categories such as Solo Vocals, Solo Piano, Solo Keyboard, Solo Guitar, Music Ensemble & Composition.
The competition is organized by the Moving Young Artists (MYA), the Qatar-based non-profit foundation that has been nurturing and inspiring young local talent for more than three years, seeks to create a competitive platform that would encourage the finest in music creativity and performances in Qatar.
The Academy wishes the music participants all the best, and for sure this competition will manifest & uphold the mark of IAID in the field of Performing Arts.
