Doha, Qatar — As the Academy marks its 15 years of sharing the passion for the performing arts, almost 150 IAID students from the musical courses bagged a 100% passing rate from the recently conducted London College of Music (LCM) Grade Examinations. It was held last January in the presence of Dr. John Hooper – Sr. Examiner from The London College of Music, University of West London, UK.
“The students exhibited a very high standard of excellence in performance and were overtly supported by encouraging teachers and staff. I was delighted to hear such musicianship from candidates of all ages and backgrounds,” aid Dr. Hooper.
“This is a solid addition to the academy’s roster of accomplishments. It will enable us to continually upfront what the academy can offer to its stakeholders,” said Ms. Marianne Indrinal, IAID Associate Director.
The successful students come from the various grade levels in Classical Piano, Electronic Keyboard, Western Vocals and Acoustic Guitar. After passing the exams, they will be promoted to a higher level and take the exam until reaching the master’s level, respectively.
